{AU where you and abby go to the same college}

you go to college in Seattle, Washington. you had moved there from your home state that summer, hoping to get used to the city before college started. you still hadn’t made any friends though so, you were even more nervous than normal as you carried box after box into your dorm.

your roommate wasn’t there at the moment as you unpacked. you happened to glance over to their side of the room, walking closer to their desk and seeing a couple medical books. “hm, they must be here getting their MD.” you think to yourself. as you go to touch one of the books, just wanting to peak out of curiosity. as your fingers touched the book cover, a voice comes from behind you

“what’re you doing?”

you to jump with a small gasp and turn to face the direction of the voice. a tall and fairly muscular girl stood before you, her tanned arms crossed and a single light brown braid resting down her shoulder.

“i was–i’m sorry. i just wanted to look.” your voice shakes slightly as you reply.
