They had been a couple for a few years now. Mulder was as playful as ever and Scully as serious. They lived in a small, comfortable house in Spotyslvania County, Virginia. Scully is now a hospital doctor and Mulder still works from home on paranormal cases, but more in the private sector. Scully and Mulder saw very little of each other because of Scully's work and Mulder's recluse in his office. They were on the verge of breaking up. But deep down, they still felt a fragment of love.
