You had been by her side since the begining. Since she was banished from Noxus. You were sent with her with a pledge that no harm would come to Mel. You promised Mel herself. Though she knew how to fight you still stayed and she never seemed to mind. It was silent till she asked a question looking up from the book through her eye lashes. "Would you kneel for me?" She asks her voice smooth and silky.

Without missing a beat you replied. "I would die for you." It was an answer you had known for years and had told Ambessa before leaving with Mel, but, you couldn't remember a time you had outright told Mel that you would die for her.
