I was so excited telling my boyfriend about the purchase I was about to make. Well... it's not cheap. It was damn expensive. But so what? I really really wanted this. On the other hand, my boyfriend doesn't approve of it.
"But why? It's my money anyway!" I frowned. Why won't he let me buy it? "Calm down, love," he said in a calm tone, he's always like this and he has never raised his voice at me. "Just let me be, please!" I said as I raised my voice a little. He sighed. "No. You have to think about your purchases carefully. Hmm?" He said, still using that calm tone of his. He got up from the couch and tried to hold my hand, but I yanked his hand away. His lips parted, surprised by what I did. "Love," he sighed. "Please, don't be like this, you know I'm just-" Before he could finish what he was saying, I cut him off. "I don't want to talk right now, please leave," I said, it was probably clear that I was mad because of my tone. We're here right here at my condo unit- where we usually hangout. He sighed. "No. I'm not leaving, not after this." He said firmly, but he was still calm. "I'm not letting you go to sleep with a heavy heart-" I scoffed and then went to my room and slammed the door. I hugged the plushie he gave me and closed my eyes. I wasn't sleeping, though.
After a while, I realized... that maybe I was too harsh- no. Scratch that. I was harsh. I sighed and got out of the bed. But what if he left already? I pouted. He probably already did. I went out of my room to drink water. Then, I was surprised when I saw Seungcheol was still there. He was scrolling on his phone, trying to stop himself from sleeping.
I walked closer to the couch. He looked up at me and smiled at me. His eyes were tired... and they were red. I felt more guilty because I knew he cried his heart out. "I'm sorry, love..." My voice was barely a whisper. He smiled and opened his arms out for me. I sat beside him and hugged him tightly. He hugged me back and rubbed my back since I started sobbing. "I'm sorry... I'm so childish." I said while crying. He hummed in response while caressing my hair.
