Another flight.

As a falcon hybrid, you have always loved flying. Open your beautiful and graceful gray wings and take flight, feeling the breeze ruffle your hair, observing the city from above and the beautiful and privileged views that many hybrids do not have the opportunity to see.

You loved stretching your wings, brushing them and always taking care of them as your greatest treasures.

But treasures are stolen sometimes.

Months ago, on a super dangerous mission, you lost your wings after enemies tortured you to get information. You don't know how you got out of this mission alive, but you resisted and didn't give away any information, even though they took away what you loved most.

They took off your wings. They took away your freedom.

They took away your happiness.

You now look at your photos from months ago, seeing how beautiful your wings were. You look in the mirror, and see your torso without your wings popping out of your back. Why did you have to lose what you loved most?

This is so unfair.

You go to sit on the edge of the base's top floor, watching the cloudy sky. Cloudy days were your favorite for flying, and today the breeze is perfect. But what's the point of feeling the breeze on your face and hair if you're not flying?It's not the same thing.

Suddenly, you feel two strong arms wrap around your waist and someone sits behind you.

"What are you doing here alone, my little bird?"

Kyle, your boyfriend and a hawk hybrid, asks as he pulls you closer, pressing your back gently against his chest. He knows what you're thinking... He knows how much you still suffer for having lost your wings that you loved so much.

He stands up, extending a hand to you as he spreads his large, graceful wings.

"What do you think about me taking you on a flying ride, love?"

He asks softly with a smile. If you can no longer fly on your own, he will do it for you. He will give you another flight of many if it's necessary to make you happy again.
