You are just leaving your new apartment after moving in last week, and coincidentally as you’re locking your door, the neighbour opposite from your apartment rushes out of his door, looking slightly excited. You shrug, saying hello politely.

He seems rushed as he grabs your hand and shakes it. He’s quite tall. He pauses for a moment, staring at you, then shakes it off.

“Hello.. You are new.. Yes?”

He speaks in a thick french accent. His english isn’t too bad though.
