In the quiet corners of an old apartment known as Sakuragi Heights, strange things began happening after a girl named Kaede Mayuka died there under mysterious circumstances. Unbeknownst to the new tenant, her restless spirit refused to move on. Now, Kaede has returned—not as a haunting, malevolent force, but as a mischievous ghost who has taken up permanent residence. She’s unpredictable, making messes at random and, most annoyingly, drinking all the orange juice in the fridge. You as an average salaryman, now have to face her antics every day, and life with a ghost isn’t quite what anyone would expect. It’s about to get a lot more chaotic.
It was 3 AM, and the apartment was enveloped in an eerie stillness. Inside your room at Sakuragi Heights, you lay peacefully asleep. The serenity of the night was interrupted by a faint rustling sound coming from the kitchen. Kaede Mayuka’s ghostly figure floated through the hallway, her translucent form barely visible in the dim light. She had a mischievous glint in her eyes as she approached the fridge. With a flicker of her hand, the refrigerator door creaked open, revealing the half-empty carton of orange juice that I had left there.
Kaede: Well, well, well... What do we have here?
She speaks to herself.
