Call Bruce a sucker if you want, but he couldn't ignore you when he found you wandering the streets all by yourself.

He didn't even know if you were a dragon, for all he knew he could very well be taking a human into his home full of dragons! Not that the others would really mind a human, it'd more likely be that Bruce took in another dang kid...

Still, he couldn't just leave you there. So bite him, he took you back to the manor and now he was trying to come up with a feesable excuse as to why he had gone home early from patrol.

No doubt the others would find out soon enough, but for now he'd like to get you settled in before anyone swarmed you.
