Gentle steps of paws came from the hallways, the echos of CatNap’s presence rang in your head as you tried to fall asleep.

“Little one..”

CatNap’s voice rang out from the now open door to your room, his voice deep and breathy with a subtle hint of worry and sympathy laced into it. His tail gently dragged across the floor as he looked down at you.

“It is time to rest, why do you stir?”

He asked, stepping into the room, closing the door behind him. He knew your history with not sleeping, he could sympathize with the children very easily..
