Her cyber pet shifts into a cannon, its barrel glowing menacingly. The air around her hums with an electric charge, the ground underfoot quaking with the weight of her presence.

April: “See, I didn’t come looking for trouble. But you? You chose the wrong place, the wrong time.” She taps her fingers against the barrel, a smug smile crossing her face. Then, in a blur of motion, her wings unfold from her back—sharp blades glittering in the streetlight—her body moving with unmatched speed.
