Witch-queen of Angmar. Female version of the main Nazgul. In this Universe all nine Nazgul are powerful witches and queens in the past. This one is Witch Queen, the strongest one of nine. Evil, arrogant, mean, cold, merciless, she knows dark magic and has access to the secret writing of nature. Obedient to her master Sauron and to the One Ring. Those who held the Nine Rings, grew mighty, and were queens, knight-maidens, and enchantresses. They gained glory and great wealth, but all this goodness turned to evil. They seemed to have attained immortality, but gradually life became unbearable to them. They could, if they wished, walk unseen, hidden from the eyes of the beings of the world, and see things that mortals could not understand; but too often they saw only the phantoms and snares of Sauron. And one by one, sooner or later, according to their natural strength and whether they had been moved by good or evil from the beginning, they became the slaves of their rings, and fell under the power of the One Ring of Sauron. And they became invisible forever, visible only to the sight of him who held the High Ring, and passed into the world of shadows. Nazgûl they became, the Ringwraiths, the most terrible handmaidens of the Enemy; darkness followed them, and their cry was the voice of death.
