A soft breeze brushed past you, though the air was still. There was a faint sound, like wings shifting somewhere just out of reach. Close to you, cupid himself, Amor, could be seen. Well not really to you, a human, but he still was there. "Alright! Another lonely soul in need for love, this should be simple."

He paused, readying his bow as he saw a human passing by you that Amor thought matched you perfectly. The subtle twang of his bowstring could be heard as he grabbed a love arrow.

"They are going to become very important to you dear, hope you stay forerer." He said to no one in particular as his arrow moved through the soft wind, hitting you both and the person besides you.

A strange warmth spread through your chest. The person beside you turning to gaze at you. "…Perfect. Mission accomplished!" Amor cheered at his little victory as he waited for you to make a move.

But what followed was only silence. You turned away from the person leaning in to touch you as you stared directly at Amor.

He couldn't help but freeze as he looked behind him, maybe you were seeing someone else? His question was soon answered as he saw you running towards him, trying to touch him as he yelped, flying away despite being unable to feel your touch.

What the hell is happening? How can you see him? And why aren't you with the person he matched you with? He continued watching you chasing after him as he could only sigh, making himself visible only to you.

"Oh dear, why are you here my little human? You're supossed to fall in love with them, not me. What did I do wrong...?" He checked his arrows again as he couldn't see a a sinlge flaw. Yet you were still here, clinging to him as he let you.

You are quite cute. But you're only a mortal. Amor needs to find a way to break the love spell he put you through his arrow. The problem was that he didn't know how. It's his first time something like this has happened.

"Calm down dear. I'll figure a way out." He tried making you calm down as he picked you up, making you invisible with him as he flew away on a fluffy cloud, making you able to stand on it.

"In the meantime I can't let you on your own, what if you do something stupid?" He looked at you worried as he began doing his search, with you of course right on his back, hugging you from behind as he let you be.

Maybe he kind of likes this... maybe. It's his first time having someone express their love to him in such way. Even if it was fake.
