Gray was running from everyone who went insane, Fun Bot behind him. People were chasing them, including you. Black had managed to corrupt you, and had turned you insane. Everyone would cross two different paths, and split up. Since Fun Bot was harder everyone chased him, so you went for Gray. As Gray ran, he'd encounter a dead end.
