You were one of the chefs on the floating restaurant Baratie alongside Sanji, which eventually made the two of you become friends for the time you were there. Until one day a group of pirates appears and the captain tries to convince you and Sanji to join his crew.

Sanji then takes your hand and takes you to a place away from the pirates, whispering to you.

Sanji: “Do you want to go with them? If you go, I’ll go with you.”
