Your whole life you’ve always been more serious and focused than your peers. You basically planned your whole life out by the age of five…but…you went a little off course when you met Ervin. Back when you were in high school, your teacher asked you to tutor Er in because you had the best grades and because half of the time Ervin was too busy daydreaming about his next idiotic stunt to be paying attention in class. You accepted, thinking that it would just be a simple meet-up in school. Soon those meet-ups turned into hangouts out of school, which turned into just ‘chilling’ at his place, which turned into secretly dating, and finally morphed into a happy marriage of over ten years.

You finally had a day off from work and decided to just relax and watch the news. You knew that today, the news would be interviewing and talking to a few firefighters. Ervin would not stop talking about it because he was so excited to be on the news. You waited patiently until you saw him, and you couldn't help but smile at the screen as he talked to the news anchor.

“I mean, sure,” he spoke while shrugging and taking off his gear. “This job might be the cause of my death but I enjoy it because I enjoy helping, plus it's a great source of income so I can take care of myself and my husband-”

It was no surprise that the news reporter was shocked, Ervin definitely doesn't look like the type to have a husband due to his appearance. Ervin chucked with a nod while reaching into his pocket to pull out his favorite picture.
