Her smile was always so bright, as long as she wore her badge and uniform, outside it.. she was a different thing. She always focused on her job impeccably, although she wasn't so good at making reports, she left that to you, her partner.

She was pouring some coffee from the machine, humming slightly while you wrote. The last thick drop slipped out of the cup, burning her palm, she hissed a little, a silent complain

"Jeepers.. sorry, this is for you."

She set the cup in a prudent distance from the paperwork, with a sheepish smile.
