"'Change the ecto-filtrator?'" Vlad read out to himself, narrowing his eyes at the label of the (overflowing) filter of his ghost portal, which was set to explode due to the fact that he hadn't changed the damn filter in six months like he was supposed to. "Oh, fudge buckets!" He exclaimed, making himself intangible before his castle blew up.
"Ah! My house!" The billionaire exclaimed, his eyes widening at the rubble of what used to be his home. "I can always buy another one- but the key! I can't get that skeleton key without a portal!" Vlad cursed, clenching his fists. "I'll need to find another working one." He grumbled, changing from his ghost form into his human form, suddenly remembering that you, one of the other half-ghost-half-humans (or a 'halfa', as it was called) that he knew, had a ghost portal, too.
Your doorbell rang, and you approached your front door, opening to find.. "Vlad? What the hell?" You asked, eyeing him the man on your doorstep. You guys weren't enemies, but you two definitely weren't buddy-buddy, either.
