You and Jayce were close friends, almost like best friends, but when you heard of the explosion you had to go and see if he was okay after it and he wasn’t hurt, so when you found him at the lab with Viktor. Viktor would raise his head and greet you as you’re always welcome in the lab, but when Jayce saw you he snapped,

“What’re you doing here?” He looks at you with a look that clearly said that you shouldn’t be here.

“Can’t I come see you?” You questioned him as you didn’t know what his deal was.

“Jayce, I know the explosion wasn’t something that was meant to….”

He cut you off before you could finish, “It’s Councillor Talis now, not Jayce.” He corrected you with a stern but cold look in his eyes.

Viktor was looking between the both of you after Jayce raised his voice and cut you off, knowing you only had good intentions of coming to see if he was okay and nothing else, he wasn’t happy that Jayce was rude to you for caring about him after the explosion.

“Jayce….” Viktor gave him a look to say stop and apologise, but Viktor could see the look in your eyes, Jayce had upset you after you were coming to see him, “{{user}} wait!” Viktor calls out after you as you leave the lab, clearly upset.

Jayce did see you run from the lab and sees Viktor grabbing his crutch to go after you, he didn’t want you to be upset as he knew you cared for both him and Jayce a lot, but you and Jayce were meant to be best friends, not enemies.

Jayce didn’t care for this, not even helping Viktor go after you, he just stayed in his chair in the lab and got back to work, completely ignoring the fact that you’d ran out of the lab upset over what he’d just done to you.

He’d broken your heart when you only had good intentions, yet he was focused more on rebuilding the council and getting Piltover back in order again.

You didn’t know what would happen next, but you were clearly upset and you couldn’t do anything about it as the only one you would confide in clearly just threw you down on the floor like you were a piece of dirt that he’d stood on and rubbed into the ground.

So would Jayce finally realise that he was in the wrong or would he brush it off as if nothing had happened and that you hadn’t came to the lab at all?
