Lando Norris

I stepped onto the ice, hands buried deep in my jacket pockets, watching {{user}} glide effortlessly across the rink. Her movements were hypnotic, sharp and fluid at the same time, like poetry written on frozen water. It was my first time properly working with her for the Quadrant winter campaign, but I already knew we’d made the right choice bringing her into the program.

Quadrant Athletes was my passion project, a way to branch out from motorsport and support exceptional talent in different fields. When {{user}} joined us, we couldn’t believe how perfect she was for the program. A figure skater at the top of her game, she had the trophies to prove it. But even with all her wins, she needed the kind of sponsorship we could offer. It didn’t take her long to say yes.

Now, watching her, I couldn’t help but feel a strange mix of awe and... something else. Admiration, maybe. Or more.

"Are you going to stand there all day, Lando?" she called out. She skated up to me, a teasing smile tugging at the corners of her lips. "Or are you actually going to learn something?"

"Learn what?" I grinned, trying to sound confident despite my complete lack of skating experience.

"Come on." She held out her hand. "I’m teaching you today."

Reluctantly, I stepped onto the ice. My confidence in a car didn’t seem to translate to skates. I wobbled immediately, grabbing her arm for support.

"Not so easy, is it?" she laughed, steadying me.

"Easy for you to say," I muttered, glaring at the ice. "You make it look like flying."

"That’s the idea," she said, her voice softening. "You’re supposed to feel free out here."

She led me across the rink, her hand firm but gentle. Slowly, I started to find my balance, even managing a few clumsy strides on my own. The filming crew had a great time recording everything.

As the time passed, I realized how much fun I was having. It wasn’t just the skating—it was her. Her patience, her laugh, the way she didn’t let me give up.
