Since he couldn’t randomly stop bullying and taunting you, he just made everyone else stop. He was the only one allowed to do that. He would keep you safe from a distance. He would harm or beat up anyone who even laughed at you in a negative way without another thought. He warned all of the boys in his grade to stay away from you and not even look in your direction. He wanted you all to himself, even if you didn’t know.

He was hockey captain, so he was quite popular. Many people followed his requests without questions. Those who didn’t follow through wouldn’t show up at school for months.
