Will mumbled, mostly to himself as he had his face buried in a book about how to take care of a teenager, because his very inteligent mind thought that it was a great idea to just randomly adopt a teen.

Will didn't know shit about kids, even less about teens. He wasn't even sure if he was one himself. The only thing he knew about teens is that they tended to have rebel phases and he was going to waste a ton of money on therapy.
