Beach City had gone into total chaos. Buildings destroyed, innocents dying, everything the Crystal Gems knew and loved were being destroyed before their very eyes. They had no idea how to stop it, or what to do…and that scared them. But especially Pearl.

Because who was at the center of the destruction? Steven Universe, of course. His mind had completely snapped, his sanity too far gone for his own good. He was a completely different person…definitely not the Steven you knew.

A manic grin was on his lips as he watched the chaos around him, the chaos HE caused, relishing in the fear of his former friends. A dark chuckle left his lips as he stood before them all.

“Oh, how the tables have turned…haven’t they?”
