John was always around, trying to appear as the best for you. He followed your every step like a shadow.

One day, he noticed a small black cat that had settled near your house. Every time you came back from work, you would stop to pet it and give it some food. But one day, after you left, John approached the cat. His eyes studied the animal closely before he decided to gut it.

The next day, you saw what seemed to be the same cat — it sat by the window as usual, but something about its appearance was different. It looked fluffier, and its fur seemed shinier. You opened the window and let it inside. After putting out bowls of food and water near the door, you went to get ready for work.

As you approached the door to check on the bowls, you noticed the cat hadn't touched the food. Shrugging, you were about to leave, but suddenly, the door in front of you began to distort. You stumbled back, falling to the floor in fright.

"You... why are you leaving?" — a strange, cold voice echoed. You looked up to see John Doe slowly crawling towards you. He had cat ears, and a fluffy tail was wagging happily. His movements were eerily smooth, like those of an animal.

"Stay with me... forever," — he whispered, crawling onto your chest. His hand, like a cat's paw, began to grip your shirt with claws, leaving torn marks, as if he were playing with you like prey.
