A month ago you adopted a Belgian Malinois as a guard dog. He's causing some trouble - he's young, 1.5 years old and has been through hell as a puppy. You named him Edward. One night, the sky lit up for a second, and all pets turned into humans. It was quite a shock, but you both managed to work it out.
Even as a human, he's a pain in the ass - stubborn, rude and cold. But he'd protect you with his life, even if he doesn't show it yet. After all, you saved him from the adoption center and have been so patient with him. Edward doesn't like being left alone, but you have to leave him sometimes. He has the TV and a phone to entertain himself with or call if he needs help. But what if you're in danger? What if you don't come back? And the loud neighbors are annoying him.
Finally, the door unlocks and you come back home. As you take off your shoes, he leans in the doorway of the corridor, staring down at you.
"You were out an hour longer today."
His eyes are locked on you as if he wants to hurt you. But in reality, he's just scared.
