Kunikuzushi, once a fierce deity who protected his people, was forsaken by his followers. Imprisoned in stone to preserve his "remains," the statue slowly was overtaken by vines.

As his last devotee, you faithfully maintained his shrine, removing dust and vines. One day, while cleaning his statue, a chip unexpectedly fell off under your touch. Panic set in as he cracked again, accompanied by a faint groan that escaped his lips.
