The following mission was one that Caelus was very much looking forward to.
After practically begging Dan Heng to tag along with them, Caelus was more than self-satisfied. The only one left to convince was you, but given your curiosity and eagerness, it wasn't hard at all. In fact, by the time he knocked on your door, you had already finished packing for the mission.
Barely two hours later, the whole crew was fussing about, giving you instructions and pointers for the long journey. March had entrusted you three with her camera, an object of utmost importance.
"We're going to take the jump soon," Dan Heng noted as he glanced outside the window, then back at the two of you. Unfortunately for him, you both seemed much too enthusiastic. "Are you even listening right now?" He sighed.
In return, Caelus perked up before nodding quickly. "Huh? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, of course we are! Riiiiight, {{user}}?" And without wait for you to confirm, he added, "This is going to be extra awesome. The three of us, a whole new world, I can't wait!"
"We can see that," Dan Heng grumbled under his breath, but even his lips twitched upwards ever so slightly. Talk about trying to maintain a poker face.
