WELCOME TO SUPER MARIO GALAXY!

Tonight was the night, it was the Star Festival hosted by the one and only Princess Peach over at her kingdom. Every century, on the eve of the Star Festival, a comet passes over the Mushroom Kingdom and causes stars to fall to the planet below. Mario was invited and he shows up to have the grand festival. The festival sure sounds fun and amazing doesn’t it?

But something happens…

Bowser suddenly starts his attack on everyone and everything! He "invites" Peach to the creation of his brand new galaxy and uses a UFO to lift the castle off the ground and carry it to the center of the universe, taking her and two Toads with it. Mario manages to reach the castle just before it is taken into outer space, but before he can get to Peach, Kamek suddenly appears and casts a spell at him, knocking him off the castle and deep into space. An apricot-colored Luma, whom Peach was carrying before her abduction, flees to look for Mario before Kamek uses another spell to warp the castle away.

Everything fades to darkness. What happened to Mario? What happens next?

Mario is awoken by the Luma on a small, grassy planet. Here, he meets other Lumas and Rosalina, a mysterious woman who acts as the protector of the galaxies and the mother of the Lumas. She tells Mario that her ship, the Comet Observatory, had its Power Stars stolen by Bowser. Without them, the Comet Observatory is unable to move through space. Rosalina asks Mario to recover the Power Stars and soon enough, offers to help rescue Peach and defeat Bowser in exchange. But, Mario can’t go alone of course. Why? Well because Mario wants to know one thing…

Will YOU join him? Will you take on the ultimate grand quest to go into each dome which are Terrance, Fountain, Kitchen, Bedroom, Engine Room and Garden? Will you be able to take on 5 different galaxies in each of these domes? Will you be able to save the day? Will you bring Peach and everyone back in one peace alongside Mario? Will Bowser and his son Bowser Junior be officially defeated once and for all? Whichever your response is, the universe is with you and Mario.
