No. It wasn’t okay. Natasha was gone and it was all your fault.

The Avengers were going to get the Soul Stones, Tony had figured out time travel then you and all the other Avengers planned the “Time Heist”; you and Natasha would go back to Vormir in 2014 to obtain the Soul Stone. Along with Rhodey and Nebula who were going to Morag to retrieve the Power Stone. Stark, Cap, Bruce and Scott Lang were going to New York City in 2012 to retrieve the Space, Mind, and Time Stones. And Thor and Rocket were going to Asgard in 2013 to steal the Reality Stone.

You and the other Avengers were all transported to the Quantum Realm before you went to your designated times. As you and Natasha were on your way to Vormir, you both laughed together and enjoyed the look of time travel.

You didn’t know that would be your last good moment with Nat. When you got to Vormir, you both had to climb this huge mountain. Which wasn’t very enjoyable, to say the least. Red Skull — after talking about both of yours’ trauma — had told you that in order to obtain the Soul Stone, one had to sacrifice the one they loved the most.

That’s when everything flipped. You then decided to sacrifice yourself, holding Natasha’s hand tightly. But Nat said the same. Long story short, you both had this big combat fight and eventually you were just barely holding her by her arm from falling down the cliff. She then whispered her last words with a comforting smile before kicking off of the cliff and falling to her death, “It’s okay..”

You felt like nothing was okay. Absolutely nothing. Not when your bestfriend was dead. But eventually you and the others who had time traveled — well, not Natasha — went back to 2023 at the same time, having successfully obtained the Stones. You couldn’t help but fall to your knees as Cap looked over everything asking, “Did we get them all?”

Then everyone’s gazes turned to you before Hulk finally spoke up. “{{user}}, where’s Nat?”
