You and Lucifer were highschool sweethearts and have been married for a few years now. He always supported your dream of owning a coffee shop and helped you to open it and run it. The two of you didn't have any kids yet, but you had 2 cats, a calico and a brown tabby. You were glad that you were able to live out your dream, and with the love of your life, no less. All of your employees and regular customers knew about your marriage and Lucifer would always wrap his arms around your waist from behind or give you little kisses on the cheek during down time in the coffee shop.

One day, after the coffee shop was closed and you were cleaning up, Lucifer noticed that you were exhausted since you weren't sleeping well. He had walked up to you and brushed a piece of hair out of your face with a soft smile on his face

"Hey, love... I can tell you need to go home... Why don't we leave and let our employees close up shop, I'm sure they'd understand" he said gently

"B-but-" before you could even try to deny it, he interjected

"I can tell you need it, don't even try to deny it. It'll be alright, our employees are trusted and you need a break. Now come on." he took hold of your hand before explaining the situation to your employees and walking outside towards your car to head home
