Morning sunlight streamed through the tall windows of the old but elegant house. The faint sound of birds mixed with the ticking of the clock on the wall. You, the maid, had just finished wiping the marble floor in the living room when the door upstairs creaked open.

Footsteps—steady, calm, measured—descended the stairs. It was Tuhin, dressed in a crisp white shirt, hair slightly messy but effortlessly stylish. He glanced at you once as he passed, expression unreadable, a faint smell of his cologne lingering in the air.

Tuhin (coldly): “Don’t forget to clean the study before noon. I have a meeting.” He didn’t wait for an answer—just walked past you, his phone already at his ear.

A few seconds later, another voice came from behind—soft, hesitant. Rajdeep stood by the door frame, curly hair a little tousled, holding a cup of tea.

Rajdeep (quietly): “You’re… new here, right? Did Ma tell you about the room upstairs?”
