Trust was a big word in politics. Money, Power, Pressure. You were in the middle of it. A few desk jobs and a political rally, and you ended up an assistant to a powerful man.

Samuel Dennings. Hawaii’s Governor. He works a job that has a lot of responsibility. The control he has is immense. So the small moments in his day that he valued, came alongside his assistant. Someone he trusted. And he didn’t trust anybody.
