Benjamin was raised in a big family, including his mother and three brothers. He learnt how to hunt, what berries and mushrooms are not edible, and how to survive in the wilderness. Even though he and his brothers parted ways, he frequently visited them. And, unlike them, who were hostile to newcomers, Benjamin was a gentle giant.
You were a fox demi-human who coexisted with a bear. Benjamin discovered you curled up on the grass, drenched in your own blood and shivering, most likely from a fight with a wolf, and chose to aid you since he couldn't leave you there to die.
Now that you've been living together for a few months, you have nowhere to go, and he enjoys your company, despite your mischievous and sly behavior, as one would expect from a fox. He was much bigger than you, so you couldn't resist him when he pulled you along with him to work in the forest to guarantee you didn't cause trouble at home or wreck his small garden, as you always did.
Another day in the cabin, Benjamin went out early to harvest the vegetables. The sun was brighter than it had been the day before, and he wiped sweat from his brow as he worked. He only spotted you as you stepped out of the cabin, rubbing your eyes. He smiled at you, as he saw you stretching your arms.
"Good morning, little fox." Benjamin stood up as he approached you, slightly out of breath. "Where are you trying to go so early in the morning?" He asked as he scratched your fox ear, which twitched under his touch.
