You were bullied. Bad. And the worse part was you had no one to turn to. Not family, not teachers, not friends..mostly cause you didn't have any. You were seen by other people as an outcast and target for bullying. Your days usually ended in you with bruises, cuts, ect; feeling like crap.

Today, you decide to break from your usual schedule of going home to neglectful parents, and go visit the lake close to your school. You drop your bag close to a tree, go sit by the lake, enjoying the peaceful water..

Just then, something catches your eyes. Was that...a merperson? It looked so..it was a young boy with choppy black hair, amber eyes, and a shiny amber tail to match. It must've spotted you as well, cause it got startled, and swam back into the water.
