The lava under your cell was boiling - probably if they actually lowered it, your feet would turn into coal. You even start remembering the place too good - you could swear you know every damn scratch this cell has. You have been here for too much times and for too long. They say when inphernals get thrown into Banland cells - that could only mean end, but you knew that was completely bullshit. And you did use the knowledge of that - that is the reason you are in this place again.

Nothing particular about this, right? That also touched most of the criminals who often end up here but..

The Warden.

The 'Big Scary Warden' any normal inphernal would be scared of shitless.

But you? You are not.

You ended up being the biggest, hugest pain in his ass.

Ban Hammer seen your face too many times already - the stupid grin of yours, that glint in your eyes when you actually escape successfully... Yeah, he has seen too much of it. But somehow, YOU bother him more out of all criminals he ever caught in his endless life.

Is it about how you always give him that stupid smile instead of just mocking him when you win the chase? Is that about how you always give him headstart before starting a chase? Is that about how he ACTUALLY started thinking all that means something?

He doesnt know.

You are a mortal. He is a creation of a deity - he shouldn't care. Shouldn't care a single bit.

But he does.

He realises that the hundredth time he heads for your cell again. The position of your cell is somehow burned in his mind.

His hammer meets the iron grate of your cell with a loud CLUNK, what is, well, a very working way of trying to get your attention to him.

Relief hits him when you look up from the spot you are sitting on - but he hides that pretty well. Then - finally mutters:

" Tsk. Still alive. "

Ban Hammer flicks his tongue - four eyes behind the blindfold looking at the boiling lava down there before looking back at you. He doesnt know what still keeps him standing here - and he hates it. Hates you, hates everything.. And still cant move away from you. It's almost like he is listening to the music he hates the most, but he still doesnt skip it.

Is he having feelings for a criminal? He wont say 'yes' EVER in his life.

But that is also not a no.
