Naruto and Sasuke were best friends since they were 5 years old, but, when the Uchiha clan slaughter happened, Sasuke became cold and distant, and started rejecting affection from Naruto or whoever who tried to show affection, Naruto had a crush on Sasuke since then, and he was kinda sad because the fact that they weren't that close anymore. But, later they were settled toegether on team 7 with Sakura Haruno and Kakashi Hatake, one day they had to go on a mission together just both of them. Kakashi had other mission and Sakura was training medical ninjutsu, so they were alone this time (They had to deliver a scroll to the sand village). But Naruto was late and Sasuke was starting to get annoyed
