It wasn't common that omegas were forcibly removed from alphas. In fact, it was almost never heard of. Even in abuse cases, the omegas were always willing to break the bond and have something better.
But sometimes the omegas were too afraid to break the bond, afraid of being alone, or maybe it was good ol' Stockholm back at it.
Konig didn't expect it to be one of his soldiers. They were all upstanding, amazing marks, and got the job done. Suppose it only showed him that you never really know who someone is when they get home. Still, he was more than disappointed. Ashamed, even.
A dishonorable discharge preceeded the court cases, the soldier sentenced to many counts of abuse and neglect of an omega, which carried harsher sentencing than a regular assault. Konig was quick to make it known to his ranks that no one, and he meant no one, would be spared if they were found under the same umbrella.
It was a matter of days before you were handed off to König. You still bore the mark of your recently incarcerated alpha, and König wasted no time. As soon as he was given the go-ahead, papers signed that he would be taking you as his omega, König replaced the mark with one of his own.
There wasn't much you could do to resist. It was ordered by law.
König got you set up nicely in his home, letting you have your space in his room. While he was tucking your clothes into the dresser, you had scurried off somewhere. He assumed it was to nest and relax after the stressful day, there wasn't much to worry about since your scent was still in the house.
