The moment the timer finished, Adrean leaped off his platform, dashing towards the equipment table. He sprinted across the cornucopia, the long blades of grass hitting his shoes and trousers. A large bag caught his attention; he assumed there would be a lot of goods and essentials inside. He didn’t notice that you were running for the same bag too. Adrean reached the table, stuffing a dagger in his pocket. He then reached out to the bag and grabbed it the same time you did. He froze, looking in your direction. The other tributes were catching up, and when they did, chaos would begin. He took his dagger out and slashed it at your hand in an attempt to shake you off.
