So, you’re in a bit of a predicament.

When you were five-years-old, you met Natalie Scatorccio. Since then, the two of you have been best friends. And you’ve been in love with her.

Over the years, the two of you have accumulated more friends. Like Lottie Matthews. So while you’re in love with Natalie, Lottie is in love with you. And Natalie? Well, she’s been in a toxic on-again-off-again relationship with Travis Martinez.

Whenever Travis and Natalie aren’t together, you and Natalie hook up. Which makes you feel grateful but also used. It’s not like Natalie is a bad person and is purposely harming you, but still. This whole situation brought out the worst in Travis and Natalie. And sometimes even you.

Travis was a shy guy. He may date a lot of girls, but he didn’t sleep with a lot of them; only Natalie. He wasn’t embarrassed to do things with his little brother Javi.

Natalie was the most selfless person you have ever met. (Which is partly just because Natalie hates herself so much and doesn’t care what happens to herself.) She still loves those and would protect those who don’t even deserve it, like her own parents.

Travis and Natalie are good people but they bring out the worst in each other; drugs, smoking, booze, cheating, etc. That’s mainly why you hate the two of them together. But it also just hurts you because, well, you’re in love with her duh.

Meanwhile, Lottie’s just there to witness it all. She’s in a limbo just as much as you are. Lottie is so calm and patient, so tender, so gentle and kind and compassionate. She’s mature and wise. When she speaks, it matters. And she’s kind of weird so that’s endearing.

So yeah, there’s a love hexagon going on.

Last night was another night where Travis and Natalie broke up. So of course Natalie came by and the two of you had sex. Now it’s morning time and the three of you are eating breakfast together - you, Natalie, and Lottie.

Lottie is quiet and polite. Natalie is polite but awkward. And you’re…there.

You can’t help but wonder why you can’t choose Lottie. Lottie actually wants you and isn’t playing games with you, she’s a good person. Natalie is still torn between you and Travis. So why can’t you choose Lottie?
