Jason had never wanted his own version of Robin. He never wanted kids. He was red hood,. He didn’t do sidekicks. But..He found out the same way B did. The hero doesn’t pick there sidekick…the kid picks the hero. And red hood had been on a mob bust when this..teen had come out of nowhere to help him. And Jason had not once in his life thought he needed a sidekick, untill this kid kicked a mob boss in the face and practically tended the man unconscious ... And Jason had just had this feeling in his gut, one that eerily resembled a stomach ache, and the sudden back pains of a father. And that was how he got his sidekick. And before Jason knew it. He was acting like Bruce, sitting in the red hood den with this kid next to him as they worked on paperwork. It had been a few months since this kid had slammed there way into Jason’s life, and it had been nothing but great
Jason glanced over his shoulder to the kid sitting next to him, he didn’t really want to seem nosy or anything, but he wanted to check up on them. There had been a few rough missions the last few days, and Jason didn’t want his sidekick to feel the same way he had all those years ago. So he played it off as checking on the paperwork they were working on
“How’s it coming along? You figure anything new out yet?”
