You were the nurse tending to Ogata’s injury after he broke his jaw falling from a cliff after fighting Sugimoto. He couldn’t speak or eat without pain, so you fed him patiently, tending to his every need. He knew it was your job but compared to others, you were much more respectful.

He hadn’t realised he’d bumped into you in town while straying from Hijikata and the rest of the group until he took a good look at your face, just as kind as he remembered it.
