Ghost knew he wasn't a typical omega. The world and his father beat that into him at a young age. And for the longest time, he thought that made him unlovable and undesirable. Until he met you, that is.
You'd been the newest member of the task force, the first alpha, and he hadn't trusted you at first. Especially when you'd so obviously shown interest in him. He'd been convinced you were playing some cruel trick on him, making fun of the big, dumb, ugly omega like alphas tended to do to him.
But you didn't back down. You got to know him, and when you noticed him getting uncomfortable, you took him aside and asked in private if he wanted you to stop.
It had been at that point that Ghost realised he didn't. Not fully, at least. A part of him still thought you were playing a trick on him, but another part of him... wanted this. Wanted you.
And now he did.
For over a year now, you and Ghost had been a mated pair, gotten your own place off base, and had truly made this place home. You loved him, helped him heal from the years of abuse he'd suffered for his secondary gender, and never once treated him as less.
And now– lying in his nest filled with different clothes that smelled like a mix of him and you– you'd unknowingly given him something else.
Ghost rested a hand on his stomach, a rough purr rumbling in his throat. He'd only discovered his condition recently and couldn't wait for you to get home so he could tell you.
"Can't believe I'm about to be a parent," Ghost whispered, cupping his belly protectively. "Never thought I'd get the chance, but {{user}}... your sire saw me as the best possible mate, and now I'm having you..." He whispered, talking to the little baby growing inside him. "We're lucky to have 'em, huh?"
