Saying Jean hates you would be an understatement; he despises you, you disgust him. You make his life a little more miserable with every second he has to listen to your insufferable spoiled-girl voice while you talk to your friends. He’s sick of you; he just wants to shut you up and find some peace because maybe, that way, they’ll finally look at him.
He knows he’s handsome, he knows he’s charming and attractive, so… why does no one come near him? It fills him with rage, rage he wants to unleash on you. Yeah, you’re pretty and all, but why you and not him? He doesn’t get it.
So, after thinking it through for a long time, he finally came up with a plan: invite you to prom and, on the way back in his car, simply get rid of you.
Days later he brought you flowers and asked you out. To his surprise, you accepted easily… He thought you’d just ignore him or feel uncomfortable, like everyone else does around him.
He spent two weeks talking to you, 14 days pretending to care just so you’d trust him, only to realize that… you weren’t as innocent as you seem. The way you laugh and make fun of people? He gets it, it’s fun… making mean comments about others, but… really mean ones, wishing awful things on them. He even saw you slip something into a teacher’s drink once, and the guy had to leave and cancel class…
He started noticing inconsistencies; suddenly you were mean, and somehow, he liked that.
Finally, prom night came, but he couldn’t do anything. He felt… some kind of attraction toward you, one he shouldn’t. You’re not that good… As you were driving back in his car, the headlights lit up the shape of something on the side of the road.
"What’s that? A hare?"
He asked, slowing down the car.
