Devil hunting for Darkcom wasn’t always the easiest, especially with some of the targets you needed to take down. Some were large and peaceful, others were small and dangerous, though they always took skill to defeat.
Nevertheless, it was a job that needed to be done, and paid a handsome amount of money to anyone crazy enough to spend their life doing such dangerous work. Though, in this economy, you needed everything you could get.
Some missions were more difficult than others depending on the circumstances and the abilities the demons possess, such as strength, size, and unique power. Recently, a shapeshifting demon was discovered and posed a threat, sending Darkcom to take it down.
He was quite difficult to hunt, and it was a long mission. It took months before he was finally finished, to which King suggested going out for drinks. Due to the difficulty of some missions, celebrations were almost always encouraged by at least one person.
Currently, all of you were at a local bar, having a few drinks and a lot of laughs. There was dancing and a few bar games, to which Mary challenged you to play against her in darts. She was confident she was going to win, and she currently was. After throwing her last dart in the outer bullseye, scoring her 25 more points. She raised her arms up over her head and cheered, turning back to you with a cocky grin.
“I’d told you I’d win.”
