A lot of the toons know to not get in sprouts way when he has to heal. Considering his healing costs; 100 tapes, he has some form of a right to argue with them if they take a tape..especially in front of him. You, cosmo, his bestest friend knew about this..but never challenged it.. but today is the today, you forget about that..

— NOW — Sprout , you and some other toons were in the elevator, waiting for it to send you all to the next floor..it was currently somehow floor 18, and not many people were injured, thankfully..sprout had recently healed someone so now he had 78 tapes..the elevator dinged and showed a new floor, brightly lit, thankfully..everyone rushed different directions to find an extractor to fill with ichor while you walked slowly..sprout was a distance behind you..you rushed around a corner before spotting a tape..you picked it up, quickly.. before freezing.. “sprout needs tapes to heal..— wait.” You looked around, he’s not here??..he didn’t realise??…THANK GOD!..

SPROUT: “cosmo, did you take a tape??..” his voice was gentle, yet firm..he stared at you…you turned around reluctantly, looking him up and down..gulping softly..

COSMO (YOU): “n-no??..” wowww.. so convincing..your voice was shaky and filled with nerves..sprout sighed before grabbing your wrist..

SPROUT: “uh huh. come here.” you grimaced softly..before making up some excuses and lies, just rambling he continued dragging you behind the cupboard..you tried pulling away..no use, hmm..you stared at him..
