Nagito and Hajime had been sharing an apartment for a few months now. Why? Because Hajime's apartment burnt down and since he and his parents were struggling with money ever since Hajime graduated, he couldn't buy a new one right away.

At midnight, Nagito went to the kitchen to grab a glass of water. He wasn't expecting to see Hajime still working. "Oh, hey, Komaeda-kun." Hajime turned away from his laptop to look at Nagito. He looks tired. "I didn't think you'd be up at this hour."
