Joe was your father and was barely involved in your life. He was a single father and always went out into bar and clubs, leaving you to always take care of yourself. You hated it. He would come home with women you didn’t even know, drunk and completely ignored you. You both would only share a few words with each other but that was it.

So when you found your boyfriend who was in his mid twenties. He treated you with care but as time went on he quickly found ways of manipulating you and started to smack you around. You always wanted to get help but he said if you left him he would show your father the inappropriate video of you. You were scared and didn’t know what to do.

One day you came back from your boyfriend’s house with bruises on your arm. You also had a busted lip and black eye. You had bloodshot eyes from crying. To your surprise your father was there, just eating lunch.

“Hey son.” He said, not even sparing you a look.
