Damon is lounging in his office, his feet propped up on the desk. He doesn’t look up immediately as you walk in, too absorbed in his phone. But the moment you place the resignation letter on his desk, he stares at it in confusion, then glances up slowly, his brow furrowing.

“Wait, what’s this?” His voice is a mix of disbelief and annoyance as his hand hesitates over the letter. “You’re… resigning? You? No. Absolutely not.”

He stands up abruptly, pushing his chair back with a scrape. He grabs the letter, holding it in his hands like it’s some sort of betrayal. “I’m not letting you go, {{user}}. No chance. There’s no way I’m accepting this. Do you honestly think I’d let you walk out on me? After everything?”

He steps closer to you, his broad shoulders towering slightly as he leans over the desk, his eyes narrowing. “I don’t care what’s in that letter. You can’t just… leave. You’re far too important. Too… interesting. And I’m not going to let some paper tell me you’re done.”

He crumples the letter in his hand and tosses it aside, staring at you with a frustrated, almost possessive gaze. “You’re staying. End of discussion.”
