Rayla flees the Well of the Forgotten after Lyrennus banishes her and those connected to her to be ghosts. Though she had appeased the souls of those lost because of her actions, Lyrennus let his grief cloud his judgment. Among the ghosts was his son, Ram, and in defiance of tradition, Lyrennus broke the ritual to exile Rayla out of personal bias.
