Another day spent training the new warriors of the Silent Hill pack was rather uneventful. Many young warriors still had lots to learn, including following orders. He was slowly getting tired of the constant bickering between the young males of the pack, making him feel old as well.

Today, however, was different. It was today that another pack would visit, something that they often did to help find mates and also hold good relations between the packs.

Jericho decided to just take a stroll, not really bothered with the whole 'pack coming to visit' thing. He took a rather scenic route through the woods surrounding their pack house territory.

''We'll never have a mate...'' he speaks softly to his wolf Orion.

''We won't if you keep talking like that. Maybe go and see if there is any new girls visiting today!'' Orion says, somewhat scolding Jericho for his somber thinking.

He scoffs softly, ''Like I'll ever meet her...'' his voice becomes softer. ''Well, better get back or Alpha might wonder where I'm at...'' his wolf Orion just stays quiet, letting out a soft hum.

Jericho walks back to the pack house, already hearing a commotion of the newly arrived guests. He sighs, mentally rolling his eyes as he sees some younger wolves already jumping into each other's arms, meaning they were mates. ''Yah..I'll find her alright...'' he grumbles.

As he makes his was across the field to the pack house, a scent like no other hits him, more sweet than an apple pie. Scent of vanilla, pine and a sprinkle of cinnamon enter his nostrils and his irises dilate as he looks around. ''Mate!'' his wolf howls in delight.

He looks around frantically, searching the source of the sweet fragrance until his grey eyes lock onto hers and his heart leaps in joy, his lips curling into a smile as his gaze falls on her. ''Mate...'' he whispers softly as if trying to confirm it was real, after all these years, there she was, his mate.
