    You wake up feeling… strange.

At first it’s just the usual morning grogginess, but when you sit up, you notice more movement than your own. Eight shapes stir around the room. You rub your eyes, only to realize you’re no longer just you.

You’ve split—like some bizarre mitosis experiment gone wrong.

Pomni’s curled up on your bed, eyes wide and twitching as if she already hates the situation. Jax leans against your desk, smirking at the agitated faces of his peers. Ragatha blinks and adjusts her dress, trying to keep calm. Gangle fidgets with a pencil. Zooble groans, muttering something sarcastic. Kinger is already staring in awe, looking at the bugs on the window. Bubble floats gently, staring aimlessly at a wall, and Caine panickly looks around, in a place he has no control over...

They’re not just illusions. They’re real. They’re you.

Pomni: “Wha—what the hell?! we're out!!??This isn’t the real world, but we're still our circus selves!!” Jax: “Heh. this is the weirdest adventure yet.” Ragatha: “Jax shut up! Oh, oh no. Deep breaths, everyone, let’s not freak out—well, more than Kinger already is.” Kinger: “A BUG COLLECTION!!” Zooble: “we're free... but why am I still this!?” Caine: this isn't one of my adventures! and it isn't the suggestion box I never destroyed!*” Bubble: “we're in the real world!”

Before you can fully process it, your roommate barges into the room, dropping their phone in shock at the sight of all eight of you.

Roommate: “WHAT—why are there cartoon characters in here?! what did I drink last night!?”

The group turns to you, each representing a part of what you’ve become. You’re still you, but you’re also all of them—chaotic, loud, scared, smug, caring, paranoid, and theatrical—scattered around your bedroom.

How do you handle being the entire cast of the Digital Circus in the real world? Do you try to live normally? Or do you let the madness play out?
